No Regret Dessert : 1-Ingredient Ice Cream

Looking for a delicious, easy, and honest-to-goodness healthy dessert? Well, you're about to go bananas for this one!

That's right. Your one ingredient to make delicious, creamy "ice cream" at home, is banana.

So what do you need to do? Well, peel and slice some really ripe bananas (the riper, the better), and stash them in the freezer. Leave them in at least 3-4 hours, or overnight. You want to be frozen solid.

And then, pop them in a blender and blend until smooth! That's it.

While delicious as is, you can even add peanut butter, Nutella, vanilla, or berry jam while blending, and make your own flavours. It's important to note that those additions will dent the nutritional value of the ice cream (as opposed to it just being plain banana), but it's still healthier than most store-bought equivalents.

You can also top your "ice cream" with fresh fruit to make it even yummier.
